 My first ever critique, apologies if it is a little clumsy.
The shot is evocative and atmospheric. The black and white helps create a mood that makes this image feel timeless. I love the gleaming cobbles. I think that it not only captures an engaging street scene, but the very soul of a city. You have caught a moment of beauty. Well done. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. The shot is evocative and atmospheric. The black and white helps create a mood that makes this image feel timeless. I love the gleaming cobbles. I think that it not only captures an engaging street scene, but the very soul of a city. You have caught a moment of beauty.
The tones of the sky encapsulate the image perfectly. The photograph's subject is also worthy of closer scrutiny: There are a thousand small events happening here. The people are stylish and I think you have captured a perfect slice of Paris that expresses everything wonderful about the city, from its architecture to its citizenry.
